ACDelco’s approach to training combines a variety of proven delivery methods to help ensure maximum learning potential for the service professional. In addition to traditional instructor-led technical training courses and seminars, a wide selection of online courses is also available – allowing participants to complete the courses at their own pace and on their own schedule.

Training Courses+

Tech-Assist (TAS) 

Very brief web-based technical courses that require no prerequisites.


Self-Study Training (SST) 

Basic-level material intended to help the technical and nontechnical person understand the technical aspects of the various vehicle systems.


Web-Based Training (WBT) 

Typically less than an hour of technical training, accessed through the ACDelco Learning Management System (LMS).


Simulation (SIM) 

Web-based interactive technical training available 24/7.


Virtual Classroom Training (VCT)

These are 1- to 2-hour courses presented by an ACDelco instructor live online.


Seminars (SEM) 

Presented by an ACDelco professional during the evening. These interactive seminars usually last 3 to 4 hours.


Instructor-Led Training (ILT) 

Full-day courses presented by an ACDelco instructor. Training is presented utilizing vehicles and hands-on exercises.


Video On Demand (VOD) 

Offers technicians the ability to view previously recorded technical content at any time.

The Learning Management System (LMS) is easy to use and offers a convenient way to sign up for classes or view course schedules.

To enroll, simply access and register as a new user. Professional Service Centers will need a six-digit account number to register as a user.
